Rivet Updated 2.5.0 Adds iPhone Streaming Support

The ever popular media sharing application tailored for your gaming console has been updated to version 2.5.0  The  update includes some bug fixes as well as media transcoding enhancements, and some new features.

The little app factory have made note that they  added iPhone and iPad streaming capabilities to the update. The iPhone application is still pending in the App Store approval inbox, but it should be available for download shortly.

We’ll be sure to have coverage and a demonstration of the application once it hits the App Store.

If you are unsure of what Rivet is; Rivet is an application that runs in your system menu bar that enables you to connect your gaming console (xbox 360 & ps3) to your Mac.  Rivet allows you to stream audio, video, and pictures straight to the console. You can specify directories and files that you would like to stream over the network to the console.

iPhone and iPad support coming soon.
