Looking for a sure-fire way to tweak your mac while avoiding all if the scary terminal commands? Secrets might be the cream to your soda. Secrets is a preference pane add-on that will allow you give access to hidden features of OS X and various other applications that are on your system.
Most of the features can be unlocked via the terminal, but for some people the terminal can be very daunting to work with.
Secrets allows you to quickly turn features on and off just by ticking a check box. Word of caution though, as continent this is, you do risk messing up core features of OS X if you’re not careful. Fortunately the application gives you a small description of the actions you’re about to preform.
