Looking through the new features of the iPhone 4 on Apples site. I noticed on there’s a neat little button on the mail application. The image depicts someone opening an attachments with the option to open the file in “Keynote”. This looks like we might be seeing the iWork suite on the iPhone after all! I am really excited about this. I have been dying to have Pages on the iPhone. No word from Apple yet, but the discretion below indicates there might just be some new apps on the way.
Also noticed the quick look. This will be interesting to see how it is going to handle newly supported file types.
iPhone supports rich HTML email, so images appear inline with text. And you see email attachments such as Microsoft Office documents or PDFs in their original format. You can even open attachments in compatible third-party apps.
