Coin Dozer is a free iPhone game that has been available in the app store for quite some time now. It’s the classic arcade game that I wasted tons, literally, and figuratively, of money on when I was a kid. This is a great time killer for those times when you are waiting on a doctors appointment or something else, like killing time on your lunch hour.
This app is true to the original arcade game with some perks. First perk that you will see is prizes, they allow you to unlock other perks with special coins, rewards, and faster regeneration time of coins. The second perk is bonus coins such as the Big Coin, Coin Walls, and Coin Shower bonuses. The Big Coin bonus drops a coin that is about 4 times the size of the normal coin and bounces nearly everything on the board into one of the three alleys. The Coin Walls bonus coin provides the same assistance that bumpers in a bowling gutter allowing only the scoring alley to receive coins. Finally, the coin shower bonus drops 6 coins in a succession usually providing a decent addition to your score.
There are very few cons that come with this game and I will point them out directly to you. This game has random issues of lag at what seems the most inane times. They have had at least 2 updates to try and alleviate the issue, though it has gotten better, it seems the longer the app runs the better it runs. The other issue is not really a con as its a free game but some screen economy has been taken away for ads, I do not really classify this as a con as it is a free app and they have to get their money somehow.
