Apple just released an update for the Java client for Mac OS today. This update delivers improved compatibility, security, and reliability to OS X by updating Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_31.

As usual, click on that Apple icon in the top left, select Software Update and get to downloading. This update is recommended for everyone.
