Yesterday afternoon, I wrote a short post about checking to make sure your older Mac will be able to run the latest version of OS X Mountain Lion. In that post, there wasn’t very much information as to which machines really can run Mountain Lion. The list I provided was based off of Apples system requirements page. They of course only listed the bare minimum of a few machines.
We always want to offer the best possible information available, so do our good friends over at OWC. Their team compiled comprehensive list of every single machine that can or cannot run Mountain Lion. This list far exceeds Apples sub-par, bare minimum list. It’s definitely worth a look if you have an older Mac but aren’t quite sure if it’s up to snuff.
