Happy New Year Fellow Mac Nerds!!

The time has finally come, break out the champagne, cold beers, junk food, and party down! If that’s not your style, then sit at home and compile some code, play the snot out of Minecraft and eat some junk food!  No matter how you celebrate New Year’s, we hope all of you have a safe one! 2013 should be fun!

The Mac Universe is going to be revving up to bring more content than we did in 2012. I have to admit, things were a bit dicey in the last couple months of 2012, I apologize for not being able to keep up on the site as much as I would have liked.  I assure you 2013 will start off with a bang! My sights have been realigned and I am ready to dive into it deeper than before.  I want to start the year off with fresh content and a slightly improved direction.

We plan on covering more apps, more accessory news & reviews, more tips & tricks, and everything else in between. I am looking forward to it, hopefully you are as well.

Cheers!

That sounds good. Hopefully we’ll see something nice. I’m tired of the shitty posts from BGR and other sites like that.. One day it’s littered with “doomsday” posts about Apple. The next day will be nothing but praise for Apple and how they are changing the entire world… It’s so convoluted and mixed.. They are clearly doing it for page views and nothing more.

Hopefully you won’t succumb to the same practices as they are doing.

Thank you for the comment. I know how you feel about some of the unsavory posts that BGR and the like have been posting lately. I think it’s rather idiotic to post three to four hyperbolic posts about Apple’s impeding doom on a daily basis.  They aren’t going anywhere, they are just trying to drum up knee-jerk reactions from everyone.  Posts like that draw more people into the site, they get paid for those impressions.  It makes sense, but it doesn’t mean it’s right.  That’s something we want to stay away from, that’s for sure, of course that doesn’t mean we won’t post speculations and other rumors, but we won’t be doing it for page views.
